NC + VA = LOVE

The beautiful graduate!

Kosorok Family

Biggs Family

This last week, Matt and I went back to the east coast to visit for Jeanette's (Jessica's sister) graduation from high school. We had such a great time! It was really fun because Matt's family came down to visit as well. We are so lucky that our parents and siblings are such good friends! Our families even hang out without us! A while ago, Matt's family went down to visit Tennessee and stayed with my family for a day and had a lot of fun. We're just glad we don't have to force our families together...they get together without us!

Right after we got outside of the airport, Matt breathed in the humidity and he was home. He misses the humidity and trees and everything about the east coast. I miss everything but the humidity. So, Matt and I were supposed to surprise Jeanette. We hadn't told her we were coming out, but I guess she had asked my parents enough (and they couldn't tell a lie to win a million dollars) that she knew we would be there. My dad even said our names aloud when Jeanette asked who would be at the dinner on Friday night. I am glad my parents aren't deceptive, but we had a good time laughing about their inability to trick Jeanette. Jeanette was still excited we were there, so that was all that mattered. My grandmas were also visiting and they both love Matt's family, especially his brothers, so we all had a great time together.

We had a lot of fun bumming around Chapel Hill. We played bocce ball in the yard, went swimming at the neighborhood pool, cooked our favorite foods, hung around with friends, and went shopping at the mall and at the best store ever, A Southern Season. Matt's brothers picked out Jeanette's graduation present from the Biggs family--a pair of nerf guns. We had a blast. We turned the front hall and dining room table into a shooting range. We also shot all the bullets onto the glass door to the office. Then we perfected our sniper shooting by getting people on the head or the bum. It was hilarious! Our favorite part of the trip, of course, was seeing our families. It was so fun to just sit around talking and joking. It was amazing to see how everyone was growing up and how well everyone got along. We played classic family games and watched youtube videos. It was the best. We'll definitely miss our families a ton. Fortunately, our families are so close to each other, so we'll be able to see them all soon.
